We recently reviewed the ability of Development Services Directors to afford a median priced home in their region. 

Using the City Compensation dataset, we took the median Development Services salary for each of the regions shown on the map and related them to the median home price in the region. 

The resulting affordability ratio represents the ability of a Development Services Director to afford a mortgage assuming a 20% down payment. 

Any value shown over 100% means the employee would be able to afford a median priced home.
